Integrating Digital Data with Mold Geometry

Particularly where small radii, openings, parting lines and complex housing contours are involved, the texture must be adapted to the actual mold surface. We prepare the design and CAD data, assess grain direction, scaling and transitions, and coordinate technical approval before processing begins. Repeatable digital textures can be produced using Laser Texturing - depending on the application, Chemical Etching or a combination with Mold Polishing may also be technically appropriate.

Defining Inspection Criteria in Advance

Reference samples, mold steel, plastic material and the required gloss level are among the most important project specifications. The more clearly these criteria are defined before work begins, the more reliably matching visible surfaces can be evaluated and later corrections avoided.
